bookmark making with Tassel

Preparation

✤Materials✤

Beads, Cord, Cotton thread(for tassel),Feather

✤Tools✤

Clip board, Scissors, Needle, Comb

Step 1

Cut two cords 150cm each.

cut cotton thread 400cm

Step 2 Making the tassel

Wrap cotton thread around fingers.

Step 3

Thread cords through loop

Step 4

Making a simple knot on top of the Tassel

Step 5

Take one cord

Step 6

Tie the tassel at the neck by using a cord from step 5

Step 7

adding feathers or beads ( optional )

Step 8

Thread the cord through a needle

Step 9

Pull the needle through the middle of the tassel

Step 10

Slip your scissors in the loop and cut

Step 11

Tidy up a Tassel with comb and scissors

Step 12

French braid the other three cords for around 35cm or as long you like.

Step 13

Make a simple knot at the end of the braid

Step 14

Clip the end side of bookmark on the clip board, and thread beads through one of the cords.

knot beads with the other cords using the macrame flat knots technique. if you are not sure about flat knots, just check it in my previous workshop by clicking the link bellow.

Your beautiful bookmark is now done!
