WorkShop 4 GemBag Sep 8 Written By Yoko Onishi making a bag for your crystal or gem stone preparation Four waxed cords. 50 cm long each for necklace or shorter for bracelets etc. your selection of a stone, gem, and crystal Step 1 Place the middle of two cords underneath the middle of the other two cords. Step 2 now you have eight cords spreading outwards Step 3 make a knot Step 4 Repeat Step 3 to make four knots Step 5 Take one cord each from where you just made knot to make another knot as in picture. Step 6 Repeat step 5 to make four knots. Step 7 Try to put your stone or crystal to see if the stone will falling out or not. If it seems that the stone will fall out will you need to make knots closer together. Step 8 If you need to make a bigger bag to fit your stone, repeat same process to make more knots.Keep checking by fitting your stone inside the bag. Step 9 Pull all cords to make the bag very tight. Step 10 Finishing the bag by making a big knot on top Step 11 If you are continuing to make it into necklace or bracelet, spilt cords in half and pull in opposite directions.( four on each side ) Step 12 Start making your necklace with either twisted knots or flat knots.
