Flat macrame bracelet

Preparation

Step 1

cut three cords around 50 cm long each

Step 2

Thread cord 1 through all beads

Step 3

Set cord 1 on the clip board or table, placing all beads in middle of cord 1.

Step 4

Move the last bead to the side and place the middle of cord 2 underneath cord 1.

Step 5

Bring the right side of cord 2 to left side over cord 1.

Step 6

Bring the left side of cord 2 over.

Step 7

Bring the left side of cord 2 to right side under cord 1 and over the right side of cord 2.

Step 8

Pull both side of cord 2 to knot.

This is halfway of the flat knot.

Step 9

Now, do exactly same thing only opposite.

Bring the left side of cord 2 to right side over cord 1.

Step 10

Bring the right side of cord 2 over

Step 11

Bring the right side of cord 2 to left side under cord 1 and over the left side of cord 2.

Step 12

Pull both side to knot.

This is one flat knot.

Step 13

Move back the bead.

Repeat Step 5-12

continue repeating step 5-12

Step 16

Start plaiting( French Braid ) after about 10 knots.

Step 17

Repeat step 4-16 on the other side.

Step 18

Measure widest part of your hand.

Step 19

Measure your bracelet.

Make it around 2cm longer than length of your hand.

Step 20

Make simple knots on both end and cut off left over cords.

Step 21

Keep one of left over cord from step 20

Step 22

Make flat knots on plaited part of bracelet

Step 23

Cut off left over parts of the last cords.

Now you should be able to slide the plaited part of bracelet to adjust the size.
